Hematology <Clinical Medicine Department of Internal Medicine>
血液内科学分野は、血液病学/腎臓病学/リウマチ学の研鑽に努めてきた生体統御内科学分野から大学院講座再編成により血液学を扱う分野として2018年に分離開講しました。
血液内科学は、白血球、赤血球、血小板などの血球の造血発生や白血球のがんである白血病やリンパ腫、骨髄腫の発癌メカニズムと治療、凝固因子などの蛋白成分の異常を研究する学問分野です。当教室は臨床医学教室である特徴を生かし、附属病院にて診療している様々な血液疾患を対象に網羅的遺伝子解析技術など最先端の技術を用いた研究を行っています。当教室は当学保健学研究科や生体調節研究所と密接に協力し、さらに国内外の研究室と共同で研究を行って成果を上げています。難治性病態に対する画期的な予防法・治療法の開発を目指して教室の総力を注ぎます。そのためにも若い力のさらなる参集を期待しています。
The Department of Hematology opened in 2018 as a field dealing with hematology as a result of the reorganization of graduate school of medicine from the Department of Medicine and Clinical Science, which has been working on the study of hematology/kidney disease/rheumatology.
Hematology is a discipline that studies the hematopoietic development of blood cells; carcinogenesis mechanisms and treatment of leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, which are cancers of white blood cells; and abnormalities of protein components such as coagulation factors. Taking advantage of the characteristics of the Department of Clinical Medicine, we conduct research on various hematological diseases treated at the affiliated hospitals using state-of-the-art technologies such as comprehensive genetic analysis techniques. Our department collaborates closely with the Graduate School of Health Sciences and the Institute for Biomedical Research and Regulation, and also conducts joint research with domestic and overseas laboratories to achieve successful results. We will devote all of our efforts to the development of innovative preventive and therapeutic methods for intractable diseases. For this purpose, we look forward to the further participation of young researchers.
