Gastroenterological Surgery <Clinical Medicine Department of General Surgical Science>
群馬大学大学院 総合外科学講座は、消化管外科、肝胆膵外科、呼吸器外科、循環器外科、乳腺・内分泌外科、小児外科の６つの診療科からなる大講座であり、また群馬大学医学部附属病院における外科診療センターは、これらに形成外科を加えた７つの診療科で構成されています。消化管外科は、その中の一分野として、診療・研究・教育に取り組んでいます。
消化管外科は疾患の範囲が多岐にわたるため、大きく上部消化管外科（食道、胃）と下部消化管外科（小腸、大腸、肛門）にグループが分かれ、それぞれのグループで専門的な診療・研究を行っています。一方では、チーム総合外科の一員として、分野や診療科の垣根を越えて、お互いが協力し合いながら日々の業務を行っています。
“優しい医療を高度な技術で提供する”を理念として、高い倫理観に基づき、患者さんに十分納得いただいた上で治療を行うことを基本姿勢としています。
The Department of General Surgical Science at Gunma University is an integrated department that comprises six divisions, including gastroenterological surgery, hepato-biliary and pancreatic surgery, general thoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, and pediatric surgery. At the university hospital, we have the Integrative Center of General Surgery, which includes seven clinical departments along with plastic surgery. We focus on providing high-quality medical care, research, and education.
Given the diverse range of conditions treated in gastroenterological surgery, it is divided into upper gastroenterological surgery team (esophagus and stomach) and lower gastroenterological surgery team (small and large intestines, and anus). Each group specializes in its area of expertise while also working collaboratively with other divisions to form a comprehensive surgical team.
Our principle is “providing compassionate medical care with advanced skills and technology.” We prioritize ethical conduct and ensure that patients have a clear understanding of the treatment they receive.
